My journey into the world of painting began during my university years when I decided to take a bold leap into entrepreneurship. Tired of the repetitive grind of construction work during the summer breaks, I sought a new path and found it through Student Works Painting. I eagerly signed up for a franchise opportunity, and that decision set the stage for my venture into the vibrant world of painting.

For four successful years, I managed my franchise in the picturesque town of Yorkton, Saskatchewan. It was an invaluable experience that allowed me to gain insights into the art of running a business and honing my skills in the painting industry.

 

In pursuit of expanding my knowledge and expertise, I embarked on a new chapter in Edmonton, Alberta. For two years, I worked as a professional painter at ProCo Painting, where I refined my craft and gained invaluable experience in a professional setting.

In 2021, an exciting opportunity beckoned from Regina Painting and Decorating, offering me a chance to return to my roots in Regina, Saskatchewan. With a blend of excitement and nostalgia, I made the move back home, ready to embrace new challenges.

My time in larger painting companies exposed me to the intricacies of large-scale operations. It became evident to me that I possessed the skills and knowledge to handle every aspect of the job, having been asked to do so during my time as an employee. With this realization, I decided to take the plunge into entrepreneurship once again.

Today, as the owner of RT Painting, I draw upon my extensive experience and the lessons I've learned along the way. Every stroke of the brush, every project I undertake, and every client I serve is a testament to the journey that began with a single franchise opportunity and the determination to do it all for myself.
